Although premarital counseling is not required, I do think it is wise.  It enables you to know and trust each other more, and allows us to become better acquainted prior to the wedding so that your ceremony is more personal.

Three sessions in the months preceding the wedding or following the wedding are available at your request.

Session 1
This get acquainted session will facilitate talking about how you met and how you grew up.  We will consider how you individually formed your values and the effect they have on your present relationship

Session 2
Covers the M.B.T.I. (Meyers Briggs Type Indicator) and makes individuals aware of their personality preferences. Understanding preferred ways of functioning in life facilitates greater harmony in a relationship.

Session 3
 Unrealistic expectations often lead to disappointment and hurt frequently resulting in anger and conflict. The "Intention Training" model helps couples to handle the anger and ensuing conflicts in a positive, affirming way.
